I write speculative fiction – sci-fi and fantasy, mostly. Occasionally I even write contemporary…ish. My best friends growing up were the combined works of Robin McKinley, Madeleine L’Engle, Anne McCaffrey, Andre Norton, Ursula K. LeGuin, and too many others to mention. New worlds, new ideas, it all fascinates me.

I drive a Jeep, love the outdoors, write and art whenever I can, and am unrepentantly queer. I’m a lover of all things geek, and a proud gamer girl. My favorite game is and will likely always be Mass Effect. I’ve done everything from martial arts (taekwondo & a few others) to kayaking and sailing, to horseback riding, to teaching high school math. I’m the Jackest Jill-of-all-Trades, and I’m always looking for my next adventure.
